WSLB top team -Gladiators (6-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed sixth ranked Riders (3-4) in Edinburgh 101-66 . Caledonia G. made 19-of-21 charity shots (90.5 percent) during the game. Caledonia G. outrebounded Leicester R. 42-21 including a 29-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Caledonia G. especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Leicester R. 's players. It was a quality performance for American swingman Tierra Hodges (175-1998, college: Furman) who led the winners and scored 22 points and 9 rebounds. Canadian forward Brynn Masikewich (190-2001, college: DePaul) accounted for 17 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side. Five Gladiators players scored in double figures. Gladiators' coach felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Danielle McCray (185-1993, college: Ole Miss) came up with 14 points and 5 assists and naturalized Portuguese center Lavinia Da Silva (188-1988) added 17 points respectively for Leicester R. in the defeat. Gladiators have an impressive series of six victories in a row. Caledonia G. maintains first place with 6-0 record. Leicester R. lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with four games lost. They share it with London.
